One of the most important production processes for automobile gearbox components, is carburizing heat treatment. Different types of baskets, trays and fixtures for these furnaces have been produced in TSF through precision casting method. Being highly exposed to thermal fatigue, these parts are in high Ni alloys (e.g. 1.4889). As the parts are of high length and low thickness, they are considered among TSF highly complicated products.
